Retl: I'm always surprised at myself when I come back to a pic I didn't feel too strongly for the first time, and then grow to really enjoy after I see it again months later.

Retl: There might be more. I dunno. It really depends on my mood and a bunch of other things.

Anonymous: what are the foxes names

Retl: Right now, they don't have names. I'm tempted to call them the "Buster Brothers" after an SNES port of a game I liked named Super Buster Brothers.

But if you want to suggest names, that's cool too. I might use them, or I might come up with something myself. I'm not sure.

Anonymous: hey could you make this picture an animation of them bouncing on them till they pop. first the small one but the big one takes longer and they laugh at the end

Retl: No.
I'll admit, it sounds cool and I'd like to see it, but the time it takes to animate even one character doing simple motions is enough to fill up an entire day. Two characters animated for more than 3 seconds could easily take me more than a month (moreso with classes coming up again in a few days), so while I think that's an awesome idea, It's very unlikely I'll do that.

Retl: I haven't really been drawing much of anything these last few days, much less working on an animation this complicated. I might do it someday, but I'm definitely not doing it right now. Sorry.

Retl: I tend to avoid doing backgrounds in pics I already like because it's really quite simple to ruin an image with a poorly done background.

But I like how this one came out.

You may have noticed I've started using Artist: prefixes on tags of friends of mine who also draw. It's to help with clarification of who's character's I'm drawing when it's not mine or a well known property, and so that when combined with the Drawn_By_Others tag, it'll be easier to fine friends of mine who do work you'ld like.
At least, that's the plan.

Retl: Not one of the most family friendly pictures, but it's definitely one of those I like a lot.

Retl: My gripe with the first one being that I meant for him to be on top of it, and not in front of it. But I can deal with that.
The second one bugs me because I really want some space between his legs and the balloon. As in I want a gap right there that would show the background if there were any, but I couldn't think of an easy way to revise that without erasing him and starting over basically.

The bottom one was the point when I suddenly realized that if I rotated my netbook and my tablet at the same time, it'd work just as fine as usual.
