Retl: To clarify, author appeal here refers to this image being drawn by me specifically to appeal to me as a fanboy. Rhea's creator isn't too fond of it. Which is a good bit of why I ever made FIP.

Retl: I think this is probably related to my thoughts of Metal Bubble Dragon as a line, but I can tell you for certain that that isn't mean to be Bubbles. Might have been the doodle that lead to the real concept, though

Retl: Here, you can see my initial response to the announcement of New Super Mario Bros. Wii from Nintendo's E3 press release. I have this game now, and it is a great game. Every bit as good as I imagined it would be. Well, except for the fact that I feel kinda rippoed off with Yoshi being ON THE FRONT COVER but only appears in a few stages of the game WHICH THEY CAN NOT LEAVE AND ABANDON YOU AT FOR SOME REASON but at least Yoshi is even in the game. <3

Retl: This sketch here is a rare example of "The first design was the best design". After my first time drawing Bubbles correctly, for some reason I started adding impulse draconic_breasts. Which took me weeks before I realized I wasn't liking the character as much as I did when I first made her for some reason, and even longer before I realized it was those breasts that was doing it. It's either because the draconic breasts don't belong, or because I just like gender ambiguous characters that makes me like this design much more than the more immediate followups. later, I did do some tweaks to get things closer to how they were meant to be.

Retl: I can't explain why or how much I like this particular Kitishik on this page. But somehow it pushes on my googoo gooey mushy toon fanboy buttons.

Retl: I totally have no recall of drawing this, but it feels familiar enough that I can believe it was made by me. I like wolfe's expression back there. He looks so totally gleeful and content with his work.

Retl: I refer to this as "Steamed Kilo". It makes me think of broccoli.

Retl: Man Solla's leg here is so ridiculously delicious looking. I feel so strange for thinking that, but that's what I think.

Retl: Out of all of my characters, Maribelle has the strangest love/hate relationship in my mind. Sometimes she gets stuck in my mind and I can't get her out because it's fun to think about her antics. Othertimes, she's repulsive and annoys me and gets pushed back in my mind almost as far as my unfavorable characters. And I don't quite know why. But that's just how it is.

Retl: I really like Lea's shirt here. It looks so darn adorable on her. <3
